Based in Toronto and incorporated in 2006, Chu Architects Incorporated is a diverse practice engaging in architecture, interiors, planning and urban design. We work from the scale of the urban centre down to the details of a door handle. Our projects encompass large new constructions, as well as small interior fitups.
Comprised of 8 staff members, we have collectively many decades of experience in virtually every building type including healthcare and institutional. Most of our experienced team members have worked closely and successfully together for decades.
All projects are team endeavours. The congenial office atmosphere and heightened communication is fostered by the involvement and dedication of team members. All team members work closely with project managers and contract administrators to form an integrated whole. The resulting cohesive team contributes to the responsiveness to ongoing project needs.
The great majority of our projects find their genesis in referrals or repeat clients, a fact that reflects our commitment to excellence, quality and service.
All projects start with an understanding and insight of client and user requirements. We design by challenging – by asking the right questions, and listening – to understanding need and desires. Underlying everything we do is a firm belief that the quality of our surroundings can lift the quality of our lives.
