Juravinski Cancer Centre - CT Simulation Room | Healthcare 1 2 3 4 description
The design of the diagnostic imaging facility for Hamilton Health Sciences is suited to the needs of both the patient and the hospital staff. Bearing in mind the complex and often vexing nature of a CT scan, the colour, millwork and material of the interior convey a pleasant atmosphere keeping the patient confident and untroubled.

Keeping the staff protected from radiation exposure and enabling their ability to do work proficiently in a tight space were prime considerations. Shielding partitions and glass with lead coatings were one part of the effort to eliminate safety risks for the control room staff.
